Vahagn Khachaturyan  expresses gratitude to Iranian leadership for  its clear position on Armenia`s territorial integrity 

ArmInfo.  During a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Yerevan Khalil Shirgholami, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan expressed gratitude to the Iranian leadership for its clear position on Armenia's territorial  integrity and the inviolability of its borders.

According to the press service of the Armenian President, during the  meeting, Khachaturyan congratulated the Iranian people on the 47th  anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, conveying his  best wishes to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

The President emphasized the importance of  continuing to development  of friendly relations with Iran for Armenia. He also stressed the  need to intensify mutual visits at various levels to better utilize  existing economic opportunities, particularly in infrastructure. In  turn, the Iranian Ambassador highlighted the significance of the  meeting in terms of bilateral respect and cooperation. The meeting  also discussed issues related to the multifaceted Armenian-Iranian  cooperation, as well as the current situation in the region.
