


ArmInfo. The Armenian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship will be held in the gymnasium of the Dilijan Sports Complex NGO on February 16-17.
As the press service of the event organizers told ArmInfo, the championship will be held in Dilijan to promote the development and popularization of this sport. The best wrestlers from sports schools in all regions and cities of Armenia, born in 2011-2012, are eligible to participate.
According to the source, the competition will be held in accordance with international Greco-Roman wrestling rules. The winners will be awarded cups, medals, and certificates of the appropriate category. "The championship will allow athletes to improve their individual skills, expand their experience, and identify the country's strongest wrestlers. This is not only a sporting competition but also an opportunity to stimulate youth interest in wrestling and develop the country's athletic potential," stated the championship organizers.
