


ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to Belgium Tigran Balayan briefed Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor, Economy, and Agriculture David Clarinval on the achievements of bilateral relations and ongoing projects.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Belgium, he drew his interlocutor's attention to the implementation of infrastructure projects in Armenia, in particular the "Crossroads of Peace" project, and the potential for Belgian companies to participate in them.
The Belgian Deputy Prime Minister praised the expansion of various areas of cooperation between the two countries and expressed support for the work being done to further deepen it.
Balayan briefed Clarinval on the results of the Armenia-EU partnership and new initiatives. The agendas of the summits to be held in Armenia in 2026 and the participation of Belgian leaders were discussed. The Armenian diplomat spoke in detail about the results of the Armenian peace program in the South Caucasus, emphasizing the historic significance of the Washington Peace Summit and the role of the TRIPP project in strengthening peace. In this context, Balayan emphasized the importance of the speedy release of Armenian hostages held in Azerbaijan.
