Armenian FM, US Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs discuss  strategic partnership

ArmInfo.  Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with US Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg to discuss  current and potential new initiatives aimed at the consistent  development of the Armenia-US strategic partnership.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, it  was emphasized with mutual satisfaction that the bilateral  memorandums on cooperation in  artificial intelligence and  semiconductors, signed in Washington on August 8, have formed a good  basis for interaction and that tangible manifestations of cooperation  are already present.

The interlocutors expressed their willingness to continue active  efforts to attract investment within the framework of Armenia-US  cooperation in high technology and economic cooperation, given  Armenia's experience in these areas and the rapidly developing  situation. Also, Mirzoyan and Helberg  discussed other areas of  mutual interest, including energy,  the extraction and supply chains  of critical minerals and rare earth elements, and the development of  infrastructure.
