ArmInfo. Gagik Tsarukyan, businessman and leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, will participate in the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, 2026, with the "Armenia's Proposal" program. He shared this information on his Facebook page.
Tsarukyan clarified that this initiative is non-partisan and aims to will unite citizens, top specialists, public figures, and caring and capable individuals to work together towards leading the country out of its current situation and toward post-war recovery. He likened the program to "Noah's Ark." He expressed his conviction that no single person, party, or alliance can achieve great results alone. Speaking about the team, the party leader noted that it will be comprised of capable people and will mark the beginning of a new life and new successes. In this regard, he emphasized his readiness to create opportunities for individuals and groups with knowledge, principles, and hard work.
"Now is not the time to fight for mandates. I want us to establish the most important principle: the position doesn't matter, the country matters; the mandate is not important, the results of the work are importnat. I am ready to create opportunities for individuals and groups with knowledge, principles, will, ability, and diligence. I officially made this statement several days ago at a meeting with young people, saying: the future is yours, you are the owners of the country, with your brilliant proposals, enthusiasm, and determination to never give up. Come and get involved. Today, I appeal to a wide range of people: if you have the desire and willingness to work hard, if you accept the ideas of the 'Armenia's Proposal' program and are ready to strengthen them with your proposals and participation, then I am ready to work together," Tsarukyan concluded.
Recall, in late May 2025, Gagik Tsarukyan, who had been silent for a long time, gave an interview to his own television channel, Kentron. During the interview, he did not rule out the possibility of running in the 2026 parliamentary elections and announced the program "Armenia's Proposal." Tsarukyan also assured that he was not seeking the post of prime minister, as he had already "achieved everything, and the position held no importance to him." He noted that "his main goal is to make the country strong to fully ensure the safety of our children."
