


ArmInfo. The US will sell V-BAT unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology to Armenia. This was announced by US Vice President J.D. Vance during a press statement following talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.
"I am very pleased to announce the sale of new drone technology to Armenia. President Donald Trump understands that the best way to ensure peace is through the dissemination and adoption of the world's best military technologies, which the United States possesses. We have now approved the sale of $11 million in surveillance drone technology to Armenia and our good friend, the Prime Minister. We are confident that the peace that is created will last, will be lasting, and will create new jobs and additional investment," the US Vice President emphasized.
He went on to note the historic significance of this event. "I'm truly proud to be the first Vice President of the United States to visit this country, and I look forward to spending more time here tomorrow. This is one of the oldest Christian nations in the world. I'm a Christian myself, and I know the significance of this country to the world and to the religion we both profess," Vance concluded.
