


ArmInfo. David Allen has been appointed Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the United States to the Republic of Armenia. The press service of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia reported this.
"We are pleased to introduce Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Armenia, David Allen. David Allen arrives in Armenia in 2024 as Deputy Chief of Mission to the Republic of Armenia. Appreciating the warm, welcoming, and friendly attitude of the Armenian people, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Allen looks forward to getting to know this beautiful country better, connecting with more people, and contributing to the realization and advancement of our shared goals of building a more secure, peaceful, and prosperous future," the diplomatic mission said on Facebook.
It should be noted that U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien concluded her mission in the country in mid-January of this year. She was recalled early. A new ambassador to Armenia has not yet been appointed by the U.S. administration.
