ArmInfo. On February 6, RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Khalil Shirgolami.
According to the government press service, at the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his important mission. Mher Grigoryan emphasized the importance of developing relations with friendly Iran.
The parties mutually commended the work of the intergovernmental commission operating between the two countries. Regional development issues were also discussed.
