The US continues to actively promote the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) initiative following the historic peace summit attended by President Donald Trump, which marked the beginning of a rapprochement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as stated by Trump's Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, during the B5+1 Forum in Bishkek.
According to him, the new transport corridor is designed to ensure uninterrupted communication from Central Asian countries through the South Caucasus with access to Western markets. Gore emphasized that the implementation of TRIPP will be an important step toward creating interconnected economies and maintaining sustainable peace in the region. The special envoy also noted that the Trump administration views Central Asia as a region of strategic importance, approaching it differently than previous US administrations. To support this, he pointed to the unprecedented scale of the American business presence: according to him, the US delegation participating in the forum is the largest commercial mission ever to visit Central Asia, as reported by Milval.az.
