High-level negotiations took place at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia between Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, and a delegation led by General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the parties discussed the current state of defense cooperation between Armenia and India and reviewed the activities carried out under the bilateral cooperation Plan.
The parties also touched upon several issues related to the effective implementation of activities planned for 2026. Both sides emphasized the importance of conducting educational events, professional retraining, joint military exercises, as well as exchanging experience in various areas in Armenia and India.
During the meeting, Asryan presented the main directions for the transformation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, highlighting the critical role that defense cooperation between Armenia and India plays within the framework of this process.
