RA Deputy FM holds farewell meeting with outgoing Head of UNICEF  Office in Armenia 

ArmInfo.  Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisogomonyan received Christine Weigand, Head of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Representative in Armenia, on the occasion of the completion of her mission in the country.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry,  Abisogomonyan highly praised the cooperation established between the  Government of the Republic of Armenia and the UNICEF Representative  in Armenia, as well as Christine Weigand's important role in  achieving significant progress in protecting children's rights in the  Republic.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of ensuring the  continuity of programs aimed at implementing the activities outlined  in the program document on cooperation between the Republic of  Armenia and UNICEF for 2026-2030.

Abisogmonyan thanked Christine Weigand for the active work of the  UNICEF Representative in Armenia and wished her continued success in  her work.
