"One of them is the shared heroism of our peoples during the Great Patriotic War, our Great Victory, in achieving which the multinational Soviet people played a decisive role. We are obliged to remember this and defend this truth against those who attempt to distort history," the diplomat said in his speech.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Russian House and the House of Moscow in Yerevan, the Eurasia NGO, Russian compatriot organizations, including the Young Friends of Border Guards club, and journalists participated in the commemorative event.
