


ArmInfo.At the invitation of Armin Laschet, Chairman of the German Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Ambassadors of Armenia and Azerbaijan to Germany, Viktor Yengibaryan and Nasimi Agayev, took part in a discussion titled "Turning Points in the South Caucasus: Historic Peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Role of Germany, and Europe's New Eastern Connections."
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Germany, Ambassador Yengibaryan extended formal gratitude to the German government and specifically highlighted the contributions of Federal Foreign Minister Johann Wadepuh. Yengibaryan praised Wadepuhl’s previous leadership of the Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group in the Bundestag, citing his "constructive work and support" as vital to the progress made in recent years. The event drew a diverse audience of policymakers and thought leaders, including academic experts, members of parliament, and media representatives.
The discussion was organized by the Maximilian University of Munich and the Institute for International Cooperation, Technological Diplomacy, and Communication at RWTH Aachen University.
