


ArmInfo.Armenia's Anti-Corruption Court has invalidated a real estate transaction involving former President and Defense Minister Serzh Sargsyan. In a ruling issued on January 23, 2026, the court ordered the recovery of nearly 298 million drams ($786,000) from a private individual involved in the deal.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, by a decision of the Anti-Corruption Court on January 23, 2026, another claim by the Department for the Protection of State Interests at the Prosecutor General's Office was upheld. "After the decision comes into force, 297 million 980 thousand drams, equivalent to $786,786 thousand, will be confiscated in favor of the Republic of Armenia," the Prosecutor General's Office stated.
