ArmInfo. Armenian ice shows were presented to a foreign audience for the first time, namely in Georgia.
As reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the event organizers, according to Zara Mkheyan, founder and producer of the ice shows, Georgia has received the Armenian figure skating stars very well. In Batumi, Mkheyan noted, the grand world premiere of "The Story of the Snow Queen" took place, as well as the shows "On the Eve of a New Miracle" and "Alena's Magical Tale."
"The ice arena management provided great support, and everything was executed at the highest level. Wonderful ice, unique graphics, high-quality production, magical music, and an exceptional level of figure skating. There's nothing like this in the Transcaucasus," Mkheyan emphasized. According to a source, Mkheyan's team has created three ice shows over the past two years, which have enjoyed great popularity in both Armenia and Georgia. The producer also said they plan to present other projects to Georgian audiences. She reported that negotiations are underway with the Georgian side regarding further cooperation and expressed confidence that Armenian ice shows could attract not only local audiences but also tourists from around the world.
Speaking about upcoming programs, the producer announced her intention to present a new project to the public. "This year, we have already begun work on a new ice show called 'Three Nuts for Cinderella,'" Mkheyan said. She recalled that the play is based on a fairy tale by Czech writer Bozena Nemcova, who, in turn, based it on the Brothers Grimm version, in which the magic is bestowed by nuts, not a fairy godmother, as in Charles Perrault.
