Armenia, Lithuania discuss prospects for expanding cultural  cooperation

ArmInfo.  Lithuanian Minister of Culture Vaida Aleknaviciene and Armenian Ambassador to Lithuania Ara Margaryan discussed opportunities for enhancing cultural cooperation during a meeting in Vilnius on January 20.

According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Lithuania,  the parties also touched on the role of cultural cooperation in  strengthening relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, they also discussed cultural events planned by  Lithuania for the 35th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic  of Armenia's independence and the practical steps required for the  successful realization of these events.
