


ArmInfo. The rescue service reports that, as of the morning of January 21, roads in Armenia are closed and impassable for motor vehicles.
Specifically, the highways leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed. Also closed to vehicles with trailers are the Meghri Pass, the Vanadzor-Dilijan section, the road from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan, and the Lusashog-Landzhar highway.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed to vehicles with trailers and impassable for other vehicles. Black ice is observed in some areas on the highways of Aparan, Aragats, Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotsk, and Amasia.
A blizzard is raging on the highways of Aparan, Aragats, and Artik.
According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all vehicles.
