Bayramov, Rubio discuss Armenia- Azerbaijan normalization  

ArmInfo.Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The discussion focused on the current state and  prospects of  Azerbaijan- US cooperation, regional developments and the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to media reports citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry,  the bilateral work and discussions on the preparation of a Strategic  Partnership Charter following the Washington Peace Summit on August  8, 2025, were highly praised. The parties expressed hope for the  swift approval and signing of the draft. It was emphasized that  defining priorities in this area will give additional impetus to  relations between the two countries. 

Bayramov highlighted Baku's stance on the prospects for normalizing  relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the peace process. The  efforts made within the framework of the normalization process  between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as confidence-building  measures, were commended. The significance of work on implementing  the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP)  project was emphasized. The parties also exchanged views on other  issues of mutual interest.
