


ArmInfo. Armenian students have demonstrated strong academic performance at the 22nd International Zhautykov Olympiad (IZhO) in Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, securing a total of 21 medals. The prestigious competition took place from January 10 to 15 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Olympiad featured 605 participants representing 16 countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belarus, Georgia, Indonesia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. A total of 90 teams and 41 individual competitors took part in the event.
Armenia was represented by four teams and five individuals-a total of 33 students from six educational institutions (16 students from the Fizmat Specialized School, 10 from the Quantum Gymnasium, three from the National Polytechnic University (NPUA) High School in Yerevan, one from the NPUA High School in Gyumri, two from the Foton Gymnasium in Gyumri, and one from School No. 41 in Gyumri).
The Armenian delegation concluded the competition with an impressive haul of 4 gold, 2 silver, and 15 bronze medals.
