Speaker: Congress of Armenia`s ruling party  to be held in the very  near future

ArmInfo.  The Civil Contract Party's final electoral list for the 2026 parliamentary elections will be decided by the party congress, as stated by Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the RA National Assembly, to reporters on  January 19.

According to him, the current list  includes around 300 names, and it  will undergo further filtration.  Everything possible is currently  being done to ensure fair conditions and representation for all 300  candidates. "The final list will not be determined by one or two  people; it is the responsibility of the congress, whose total  representation is approximately 1,000 people. The congress itself  will take place very soon," the Speaker said.
