On January 8, international relations expert Suren Sargsyan stated that the recall of US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien was likely due to her activities in Ukraine. It's worth noting that Kristina Kvien served as the US Charge d'Affaires a.i. in Ukraine since January 2020, becoming Deputy Chief of Mission after the departure of the previous ambassador. She was also prominent for her active involvement during the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
