


ArmInfo. As part of its international cooperation, the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) donated two modern unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Armenia's Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources. This was reported by the press service of the Inspectorate.
Specifically, according to the source, the Inspectorate received a DJI Matrice 30T UAV, a DJI Matrice 4T, and seven laptops, along with the necessary technical equipment for its maintenance. The Inspectorate explained that the DJI Matrice 30T drone is equipped with thermal imaging and high-resolution cameras. The new devices, the source explained, will enable the rapid detection of illegal activity and ensure the most accurate and comprehensive data collection, facilitating the monitoring of hard-to-reach and remote areas, strengthening a reliable evidence base, and reducing human and time costs.
"The use of unmanned aerial vehicles over the past three years in the areas of subsoil use, biodiversity, and air and water resource protection has significantly contributed to the effectiveness of environmental risk monitoring, prevention, and rapid response," the Inspectorate noted.
