Armenian premier seeks post of Catholicos - Arman Tatoyan 

ArmInfo.Nikol Pashinyan wants to become Catholicos of All Armenians rather than retain the post of Prime Minister, and that's ridiculous. This was stated in a  video message from his Facebook page by Arman Tatoyan, coordinator of the political movement "Wings of Unity," and former Ombudsman of Armenia.

According to him, at a time when part of the country is occupied,  when it's often hard to breathe in the capital, when pensioners  receive ridiculously low pensions, when new schools are built for  show while education is being destroyed, when, since 2020, it has  been impossible to strengthen state security or strengthen the army  to defend itself from all those who threaten physical annihilation  almost daily, Nikol Pashinyan wants everyone in the country to talk  not about the existence of the Armenian state, but about his personal  lawlessness. "Mr. Pashinyan, it seems to me that you'd rather become  Catholicos of All Armenians than retain your post as prime minister.  Apparently, yesterday's events are part of your election campaign,  and that's truly ridiculous. I want to be prime minister and nothing  else. Dear compatriots, under my leadership, you will never witness  the Church being made a laughingstock, playing drums, performing as a  circus clown, or focusing your attention on stupid and absurd  topics," the movement's coordinator stated.
