Difficult roads in Armenia - RA Ministry of Internal Affairs

ArmInfo. The Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that, as of the morning of December 26, roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly  passable.

Roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in  the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are  closed. Snow is falling in the Shirak region, as well as in the  districts of Aragats, Talin, Hrazdan, Charentsavan, Stepanavan,  Spitak, Vanadzor, Ijevan, Berd, and Dilijan. Drivers are strongly  advised to use winter tires exclusively. According to information  received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry  of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergency  Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway  is open to all modes of transport.
