Opposition MPs meet with European diplomats

ArmInfo.On December 23, the Head of the NA Armenia Faction Seyran Ohanyan, MPs Anna Grigoryan, Artur Khachatryan, Armen Gevorgyan and Kristine Vardanyan met with the Ambassador of Sweden to the Republic of Armenia Eva Sundquist , the Ambassador of the Netherlands Marieke Monroy-Winter and the Ambassador of Belgium Eric De Muynck.

At the guests' request, the MPs presented their views on the domestic political situation in Armenia, spoke about the RA-European Union cooperation, highlighting the importance of EU support in implementing reforms in the judicial and legal sphere.

The guarantees for ensuring peace with Azerbaijan were touched upon. The MPs raised the issues of the return of the persons held in Azerbaijan, as well as the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage in Karabakh.

The members of the Faction expressed concern about they believe is the democratic backsliding in Armenia.
