Seven real estate properties with a cadastral value of 2 billion 319 million drams ($6 million) were transferred to the State Property Management Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure through a December 18 decision of the Armenian Government. All properties were returned to the Republic of Armenia as a result of meeting the demands made by the Prosecutor's Office within the scope of its authority to protect state interests, as reported by Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan.
Anna Vardapetyan recalled that from January 1, 2025 to the present, the prosecutor's office has utilized its exclusive powers to initiate claims for the protection of state (public) interests, As a result of the actions taken by the prosecutor's office, property worth 66 billion 250 million drams, equivalent to 174 million 545 thousand US dollars, has been returned to the state or community, including kindergartens, a cultural center, a stadium, a natural monument, parks, land plots and funds.
