


ArmInfo. Polish Armenian scholar Professor Andrzej Pisowicz was awarded a medal by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MESCS) for his work and contribution to Armenian studies at the second conference of Armenian Studies Centers, held at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
As reported by the MESCS press service to ArmInfo, the award was presented by Deputy Minister Artur Martirosyan. Due to Pisowicz's inability to attend the conference, Professor Krzysztof Stopka accepted the award.
According to the source, Pisovich is the author of numerous publications, including "Armenian Grammar and Origins of the New and Middle Persian Phonological Systems"" "Dictionary of Soviet Armenian Writers," "Grammar of Old and Modern Armenian," and "Small Armenian-Polish and Polish-Armenian Dictionary."
