Lindsay Snell Sounds the Alarm: The  `Western Azerbaijan community`  has an increasing number of Europeans with government ties shilling  for them 

ArmInfo.  American journalist Lindsay Snell is sounding the alarm: Azerbaijani  authorities are promoting the narrative of the so-called "Western  Azerbaijan" community through European officials.

"The 'Western Azerbaijan community' has an increasing number of  Europeans with government ties shilling for them. This one even   suggested organizing a 'Western AZ event in Germany. This is  concerning, especially since Armenian policy on Western AZ seems to  be to ignore it," the journalist wrote on her X account.

Note that, following the violent seizure of Artsakh, Azerbaijan has  began promoting a new narrative about so-called "Western Azerbaijan."  Thus, the Azerbaijani authorities are attempting to promote a  creeping occupation of Armenia by Azerbaijanis, with plans to  resettle approximately 300,000 Azerbaijanis in Armenia. Moreover, at  the time of the collapse of the USSR, approximately 80,000  Azerbaijanis lived in Armenia. They voluntarily  left Armenia in the  late 1990s, receiving compensation from the Armenian state for the  property they left behind, unlike the Armenians living in Azerbaijan.  The latter fled Azerbaijan without any belongings, trying to save  their lives amidst massacres.
