


ArmInfo. The Mkhitar Gosh Center for Armenian Studies will open in the Polish city of Poznan. According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MESCS), Zhanna Andreasyan made this announcement during a meeting with Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education Marcin Kulasek.
She noted that the agreement to establish the Center is outlined in a memorandum between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, where it will be located.
The Center will implement research programs in Armenian studies. According to the source, during the meeting, Marcin Kulasek emphasized the importance of developing cooperation with Armenia and noted the role of the Armenian community in Polish public life. He also highlighted nine research programs being implemented with Armenia in STEM fields, recognizing the potential for enhancing cooperation.
Zhanna Andreasyan, in turn, expressed confidence that the close cooperation between the two countries in higher education and science will continue, facilitating the implementation of new initiatives and ideas.
