


ArmInfo. More than half of respondents in Armenia oppose changes to the country's Constitution, according to a survey conducted by a consulting company MPG "Molotok."
When asked to about their stance on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's intentions to amend the country's Constitution, 57.1% of respondents said it should remain unchanged. This was an increase from 59.6% in February of this year. Another 20.7% supported the idea of changing some of its provisions, compared to 18.4% in February. It is worth noting that the number of those who found it difficult to answer (14.9%) and those who favored a new constitution (7.3%) remained the same in November compared to February of this year. When asked to express their attitude towards the participation of the Armenian Prime Minister in liturgies conducted by defrocked clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, 23.4% of respondents had an absolutely positive attitude towards this, 13.7% were rather positive, 11.1% were rather negative, 39.3% were absolutely negative, and 12.6% found it difficult to answer.
Note that the telephone survey was conducted with 1001 respondents from November 27 to December 5 in Armenia, with a sampling error of +/- 3%.
