Lawyer: Searches at Artsakh`s Yerevan Representative Office not  related to Samvel Karapetyan`s case

ArmInfo. Samvel Karapetyan, businessman and head of the Tashir Group, has no  connection to the case in which searches have been conducted at the  Artsakh Republic Representative Office in Yerevan since December 11,  as stated by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan during a press conference in  Yerevan.

He expressed confidence that the Investigative Committee is well  aware of this, mentioning that four court decisions have already  confirmed Karapetyan's lack of connection to the searches. He added  that under the current circumstances, it is sad to realize that a  group of 53 investigators  continues to conduct illegal proceedings  instead of closing the case. "The violations attributed to Samvel  Karapetyan have nothing to do with reality or objectivity; they are  beyond absurdity. Karapetyan had strong ties to Artsakh, which is why  he is currently under arrest," Vardevanyan asserted.
