


ArmInfo.Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin is willing to support initiatives that promote the study of documents on the Armenian Genocide, the popularization of Christian heritage, and the dissemination of spiritual values, as stated by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II during a meeting with German historian Michael Hesemann.
According to the press office of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the historian is currently in Armenia to participate in the international academic conference "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention." In this regard, Karekin II also invited Hesemann to give presentations to parishioners of the congregation of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and at religious and educational institutions.
During the meeting, the interlocutors noted the importance of religious freedom and dialogue, global cooperation, and the unification of efforts in the modern world to promote universal well-being and the building of a peaceful and just world.
It should be noted that the conference, initiated by the Institute of Armenian Studies and the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies, was held from December 8 to 10 at the conference hall of the Yerevan State University Academic Council. It brought together forty leading experts from more than 10 countries.
