Even in faraway Germany, Pashinyan concerned about  procedures for  electing  new Catholicos 

ArmInfo. Even from Germany, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of the resignation of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, particularly, the roadmap  he recently published for the renewal of the Armenian Apostolic  Church (AAC) after the removal of Ktrich Nersisyan (Catholicos of All  Armenians).

During a Facebook live broadcast,  he pointed out  the three points  of the roadmap. The first point involves the election of the Vicar of  the Catholicosate, in accordance with the logic of the regulations in  force in the Armenian Apostolic Church. "It's important for the  election of the locum tenens of the Catholicos of All Armenians to be  held in accordance with the current rules of the Armenian Apostolic  Church. As far as I know, this is being done by the bishops, and I,  and I, have no other approaches or proposals on this matter," he  said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the new locum tenens' primary task  should be the organizing of the process of adopting the new  regulations of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
