ArmInfo. Newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov presented copies of his credentials to Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, following the presentation of credentials, the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Bulgaria was commended and prospects for developing cooperation in the economic, energy, scientific, educational, cultural, and other areas of mutual interest were discussed.
The parties also touched upon issues of deepening cooperation between Armenia and Bulgaria within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership, emphasizing in this context the importance of the "Strategic Agenda for the Armenia-EU Partnership," signed on December 2.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
It should be noted that Nikola Nikolov served as Head of the Department of Strategic Communications and Public Diplomacy of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since August 2023.
