


ArmInfo. In New York, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisogomonyan met with Thomas Todling, Executive Director of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung's New York office, and Adam Lupel, Executive Director of the Coalition for the UN We Need.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service, Abisogomonyan briefed his colleagues on recent regional developments, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening and institutionalizing the peace established in the South Caucasus.
The Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the fundamental importance of the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, aimed at expanding political dialogue in the region and stimulating trade, economic ties, and investment. In this context, the importance of unblocking transport links in the South Caucasus, based on full respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of the countries concerned, was also emphasized.
The Armenian diplomat noted that the South Caucasus has untapped potential to become an efficient and secure logistics hub, the realization of which could lead to an increased role for the region in the context of transport network development. In this regard, Abisogomonyan emphasized the crucial importance of implementing the Armenian government's "Crossroads of Peace" project and its key component, the TRIPP program.
