


ArmInfo. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, meeting with a delegation led by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, expressed satisfaction with the recent intensification of ties between the two countries.
According to Azerbaijani media, Aliyev added that the bilateral agenda is broad and covers many areas, with specific roadmaps for all issues. He also touched on cooperation in economic, trade, transport, energy, and other areas.
Araghchi, in turn, noted that Azerbaijani-Iranian ties are deeply rooted and touched on the importance of further deepening the relationship. They exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Araghchi also held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. The parties focused on transport and logistics, including the International North-South Transport Corridor and projects connecting Nakhidvani and the occupied territories of Artsakh, discussing ways and mechanisms to strengthen economic and trade cooperation.
The meeting also discussed humanitarian cooperation, including increasing Baku-Tehran-Tabriz flights, as well as cooperation in education, culture, and tourism.
They also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations such as the UN, the Non- Aligned Movement, and the OIC, as well as the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
