


ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Maria Telalyan discussed key areas of Armenia's cooperation with the OSCE/ODIHR during a meeting in Vienna.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the effective interaction in strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring the rule of law.
Electoral processes were discussed as well. In this regard, Mirzoyan emphasized that the Armenian government views democracy as a key factor in continuously strengthening stability in the country and therefore intends to conduct electoral processes in accordance with democratic standards.
The parties mutually emphasized the importance of active cooperation with relevant international structures, including the OSCE/ODIHR. The discussion also touched on hybrid threats, including mechanisms for effectively combating disinformation. They expressed their readiness to cooperate in this area as well. During the meeting, views were exchanged regional processes and humanitarian matters were addressed.
