


ArmInfo.On the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Conference in Vienna, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral relations agenda, noting the recent positive dynamics. In this context, they expressed satisfaction with the opening of embassies in the two capitals.
Mirzoyan and Szijjarto emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts to implement agreements aimed at expanding bilateral partnership, as well as the Armenia-EU partnership. In the context of the latter, they emphasized their willingness to implement specific programs using the current EU instruments. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Hungary also discussed humanitarian issues, including the program being implemented in Hungary for child refugees from Artsakh and their accompanying families.
They also discussed cooperation in multilateral formats. Views were exchanged on the international situation. In the context of regional developments, Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the agreements reached in Washington in August. Efforts aimed at further strengthening peace were noted.
