ArmInfo. Armenia is expecting concrete investment programs from the EU within the framework of the Crossroads of Peace, and TRIPP Route (The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) project, as stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a briefing on December 4.
He also noted that relations with the EU are not limited to transport infrastructure projects but encompass a broader context. Welcoming the recent signing of the Strategic Partnership Agenda between Armenia and the EU, the Prime Minister emphasized that this is an important change and development in their bilateral relations.
He mentioned that years earlier, the EU announced ?2.6 billion in assistance to Armenia. "If I remember correctly, ?500 million has already been invested, including in Armenia's financial sector for business lending," the Prime Minister noted, emphasizing that relations with the EU will enhance.
Referring to the TRIPP Route (Trump International Route for Peace and Prosperity) project, he noted that work is currently underway on the documents. "And, it seems to me, we are moving forward at a good pace. We will implement the project within the specified timeframe," he said. Specifically, the Prime Minister clarified that the first phase of implementation involves the development and adoption of legal and conceptual documents, followed by an agreement, and only then the practical implementation of the project on the ground. "We continue to actively work to clarify the strategic framework of the TRIPP Route."
