


ArmInfo.On December 2, Armenian Ambassador to Paris Arman Khachatryan met with members of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate, led by its President Gilbert-Luc Devinaz.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in France, Khachatryan commended the French Senate's ongoing support of Armenia and the Armenian people, including the Armenian side's commitment to establishing peace in the region and strengthening democratic institutions within the country.
The Armenian diplomat touched upon the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, particularly focusing on collaboration in defense, economics, infrastructure, and energy. He also mentioned the expansion of the Armenia-EU dialogue and the recent signing of the Armenia-EU Strategic Agenda. The Armenian Ambassador provided updates on regional developments, including the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, and Armenia's efforts to institutionalize peace in the South Caucasus.
The Chairman and members of the Senate France-Armenia Friendship Group reaffirmed their commitment to further supporting the peace agenda in the region, strengthening Armenian-French relations, and advancing the Armenian-French partnership.
