Major General Grigory Khachaturov  placed on international wanted  list

ArmInfo. A criminal case has been initiated against the former commander of the 3rd Army Corps, retired Major General Grigory Khachaturov (son of the former Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov). He has been placed on the international wanted list. The Prosecutor  General's Office of Armenia has confirmed this information to ArmInfo.

According to the source, on November 25, 2025, a criminal case was  initiated against Grigory Khachaturov under Part 1 of Article 436  (Bribery) and Part 3 of Article 549 (Abuse of power in wartime,  resulting in death) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.  Khachaturov has been placed on the international wanted list.

It is also noted that the court has rejected the investigator's  motion for pretrial detention, a decision that will be appealed by  the prosecutor's office.
