


ArmInfo. Another 104 residential elevators in Yerevan will be replaced by the end of the year. This was announced by Arsen Karoyan, Head of the Yerevan Municipality's Public Utilities Department, at a working meeting at the Yerevan City Hall on December 1.
According to him, 400 elevators have already been installed. An additional 104 elevators are planned to be commissioned by the end of the year, 74 of which are already at their designated locations. Karoyan announced that 30 more elevators will be delivered to Yerevan soon, and installation work will begin.
It's worth noting that the elevators in Yerevan's high-rise buildings are designed to last 25 years, but many have been in operation for over four decades. The city currently has 3,198 elevators that need to be replaced.
