ArmInfo. The peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan is continuing as usual. Representatives of both countries are in constant contact, and there are great expectations that a peace treaty will eventually be signed. Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan stated this in a conversation with reporters, touching on the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process.
When asked if a deadline has been set for signing the document, the diplomat noted that there is currently no specific deadline yet. He noted that he had no additional information to add on this matter. Safaryan also declined to answer the question of whether delimitation in the Syunik region would continue. "A statement on these and other issues will be issued if necessary. Work in this direction is also ongoing, but there are no specific deadlines yet," the Deputy Foreign Minister concluded.
Regarding the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, the diplomat stated that Yerevan and Washington are actively negotiating in this direction. When asked if the Armenian media was correct in reporting that a US State Department official, during his visit to Armenia, informed Armenian authorities that a Russian company would be involved in the project, Safaryan noted that he was not familiar with such information, He added that the primary objective today is to establish an Armenian-American company to implement the project.
