


ArmInfo. On November 24, RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Ghazaryan met with representatives of mobile operators operating in the Republic of Armenia. According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, the meeting discussed processes related to the availability of location services, resulting from the implementation of the "Unified Control Center" unified alarm system being implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of the fourth public sector modernization program, a unified control center is planned to be launched at the Ministry of Internal Affairs beginning January 1, 2026. This center will combine the functions of the Police Operations Management Center and the National Crisis Management Center of the Rescue Service. The goal of the planned reform is to ensure more efficient and rapid response, effective and uninterrupted information exchange between relevant agencies, as well as strengthen cooperation and create a more coordinated and unified management environment. The reform will also facilitate a more targeted, effective, and optimal use and management of public resources. The Deputy Minister, emphasizing the importance of ensuring citizen safety and the state's responsibility to respond promptly in crisis situations, particularly emphasized the importance of the agency's cooperation with mobile operators, as well as the need for further joint work within the framework of the program.
