
ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker discussed the development of the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States at a meeting in Yerevan.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the two sides emphasized their readiness to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and investment promotion.
"I am pleased to note the active dynamics of the political dialogue aimed at expanding the bilateral agenda between Armenia and the United States, enriching the strategic partnership with new content and concrete initiatives, as well as the continued engagement of the United States in the consistent strengthening of the established peace," Mirzoyan noted.
The parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached in Washington on August 8. Considering the symbolic 100th day of the Washington Peace Summit, Mirzoyan and Hooker noted the progress achieved during this period in implementing the agreements, as well as the work ahead. The parties exchanged views on the preparatory work required for the construction of the "Trump Road for International Peace and Prosperity" project.
The importance of the latter in developing a network of transportation and other communications across a wider geography was emphasized. Mirzoyan and Hooker exchanged views on other regional issues.
