


ArmInfo. During a meeting in Tbilisi, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili discussed the development of bilateral cooperation between their countries.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors touched upon the existing initiatives between the legislative bodies of the two countries. They emphasized the importance of the signed declaration on strategic partnership between the countries as a confirmation of their current cooperation and a basis for future practical collaboration.
Mirzoyan and Papuashvili also highlighted the significance of strengthening interparliamentary ties between the countries and advancing an agenda of mutual interest to Georgia and Armenia. Referring to the results of the trilateral meeting in Washington in August 2025, Mirzoyan expressed confidence that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the complete unblocking of transport communications will contribute to transforming the region into an effective transit and logistics hub.
