Armenia ranks 91st among the world`s most powerful armies: Global  Firepower ranking

ArmInfo.Armenia ranks 91st among the world's most powerful armies, according to the Global Firepower ranking, with a score of 2.0373. A score of  0.0000  is considered "perfect".

The ranking compares the armed forces of 145 countries across 60  indicators, including the number of equipment and personnel,  financial status, resource availability, and other factors. Military  power is determined not only by the size of the army, but also by its  assets, such as ships, aircraft, defense budget, and access to  natural resources (oil, coal).

Armenia's neighbors rank as follows: Georgia is 94th with a score of  2.0695, Azerbaijan is 60th with a score of 1.2531, Iran is 16th with  a score of 0.3048, and Turkey is 9th with a score of 0.1902.  The  United States ranks first with a score of 0.0744, followed by Russia   with a score of 0.0788. China, India, and  South Korea also make up  the top five with scores of- 0.0788,  0.1184, and- 0.1656  respectively.
