ArmInfo.  Armenia has never been as independent and sovereign in the past 100 years as it is today; this is a fact and a reality. Artur Hovhannisyan, Secretary of the ruling faction, made this statement during a briefing at the  National Assembly on November 14.

According to him, no one can dispute this or make any comments on  this matter. In addition to the agreement signed in Washington on  August 8, the parties have also agreed to delimit and demarcate  borders, including a resolution on the occupied territories.  Additionally, the agreement initialed in the US capital clearly  stipulates that both parties renounce territorial claims against each  other. "We base our decisions on concrete facts, not empty rhetoric.  We leave everything else to the conscience of the opposition, making  comments that have nothing to do with reality," Hovhannisyan  emphasized.
