Specifically, in a post on the Christian Solidarity International microblog on X, Bishop Daniel Findikyan reported that at the event, he raised the issue of Armenian priests in prison. He called for their release, naming Archbishops Bagrat Galstanyan, Mikael Ajapahyan, and Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan. "My brothers are in prison. All imprisoned by the Armenian government," the bishop said.

He said he had arrived in Yerevan to participate in a national prayer breakfast and emphasized that, according to human rights groups, several priests and their supporters had been imprisoned. "Just today, three bloggers were arrested. We are glad to be here, but we have several questions," he said.
