ArmInfo. Developers in Yerevan who violate the rules established by the Council of Elders will be severely punished, according to a statement from the capital's municipality.
As noted in the statement, in 2023, the Yerevan Council of Elders amended its resolution on the proper design of construction sites. According to the resolution, developers are required to cover the sites with dust-collecting nets, which will not only reduce the environmental impact of construction work in Yerevan but will also contribute to the city's safety. Furthermore, the resolution requires air quality monitoring devices to be installed at construction sites, and truck washes must be organized to ensure that trucks leaving the construction site have clean tires.
"There are developers who generally consistently comply with the established rules, while others are unscrupulous. City authorities are considering implementing a number of amendments to the Yerevan Council of Elders' decision by the end of the year. Developers who violate the Council of Elders' rules will be severely punished," the Yerevan City Hall said in a statement.
